1963 Wayside and Woodland Blossoms [Series I-III] by Edward Step Botany Books

Second New Edition. A neat set of Step's Wayside and Woodland Blossoms, an ever-popular series of botaniccal guides to British wild flowers which was first published in 1895. This New Edition from 1963 was revised with additional information by the botanist Ralph Anthony Blakelock, whose expertise was treasured by the herbarium at Kew Gardens. This edition benefits from a combination of colour plates, line drawings, and photographic images to illustrate the text.

In very good condition with the spines a little sunned, block edges foxed and discoloured, dust jackets worn at edges and clipped. Bound in green cloth, covered with pink photographic dust jackets, covered with removeable plastic sleeve. 17.5 x 12 cm. Pp. lx, 148; xxx, 170, xxii, 194.
