Second edition. An ever-popular title in an early edition, featuring woodcuts after pieces by Moulin Rouge impressionist painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. The author, Edouard de Pomaine, was a respected culinary figure whose no-nonsense approach to cooking inspired the Nouvelle Cuisine movement of the 60s and 70s.

This copy is in very good condition with its original dust jacket. Corners are a little bumped with some light wear, spine head also slightly pulled. Endpapers lightly foxed with the odd small spot throughout, nothing major. Dust jacket good with creases and closed tears to corners, small chip missing at spine head, clipped front flap, tanned spine and one or two stains to panels. Bound in coral cloth with black stamped cook motif, motif repeated in red to yellow dust jacket with green tiltes. 21 x 13 cm.

My books are packed and posted using recycled materials wherever possible.
