First edition, first impression. Daphne du Maurier's Irish tale is a multi-generational saga, in which the Brodericks struggle to regain control over a copper mine, which appears to have been cursed by the Irish Donovan family. The feud escalates in typical Du Maurier fashion, creating a tense, pressurised atmosphere.

In very good condition, a little foxed throughout with some shelf lean. The original dust jacket is also very good, with a faded spine and some small closed tears and creases around the spine ends and edges. Bound in blue cloth with spine titles. Protected in a removeable plastic sleeve. 19 x 13 cm. Pp. 328.
