The feud escalates in typical Du Maurier fashion, creating a tense, pressurised atmosphere.
In very good condition, a little foxed throughout with some shelf lean. The original dust jacket is also very good, with a faded spine and some small closed tears and creases around the spine ends and edges. Bound in blue cloth with spine titles.
