New impression. A 1937 reprint of Lang's Orange Fairy Book, published as part of his famous and highly collectable Fairy Book series. The Orange Fairy book was originally published in 1906, and like the other titles in the series, features stunning illustrations by celebrated artist Henry Ford. The most popular English language translation of the folk tale known as 'The Ugly Duckling' was published as part of this anthology.
In very good condition with some marks to the boards, slight shelf lean, gently bumped corners, an ink inscription to the front free endpaper, and occasional foxing. Bound in blindstamped orange cloth with gilt titles and fairy motif to the spine. 19 x 12 cm. Pp. [ix] xiii, 358.
