A classic title reimagined by legendary Golden Age artist Frank C. Papé, whose neo-Gothic whimsical take on the tales of Gargantua and Pantagruel perfectly compliment the absurdist humour of Rabelais. The majority of Rabelais's work revolves around the experiences of a crude giant who becomes a great knight, and his bookish son who evolves to begin a new renaissance period of creativity. The stories balance the bawdy with the philosophical, wonderfully illustrated in Papé's signature style.
