1917 Corners of Grey Old Gardens by Margaret Waterfield [Early Reprint]

An early reprint of this classic Jessie M. King book design. King was one of the Glasgow Girls, and worked as a jewellery designer alongside providing illustrations and binding designs for publishers T. N. Foulis. This title by Margaret Waterfield explores the joys of gardens, and features 8 tipped-in colour plates by Waterfield on grey card stock.

In very good condition with gently bumped corners, light edge wear, a slightly tanned spine, and light foxing to endpapers. Bound in King's signature cream stock with boards illustrated in her distinct colourful style. Top edge sprayed green, the others untrimmed. 19 x 13 cm. [xii], pp. 150, [vi] inc rear advert.
