Second editon. A fascinating Edwardian monograph on the Honey Bee, accompanied by 73 figures of 138 illustrations. The author was the co-founder of the British Beekeepers Association, established in 1874 and still operating today with over 30,000 members.
In very good condition with gently bumped corners, two tiny red stains to the front board edge, lightly foxed endpapers and block edge. Firmly bound in blue decorative cloth with white titles and bee motifs, titles reflected to the spine, blindstamped border to rear board, matching blue endpapers. 16.5 x 10 cm.
